Tea?

The smell of wild berry tea wafted through the apartment and Mike followed his nose to the far bedroom. He quirked an eye ridge as he watched Megan coddle her warm drink.

"Good stuff?" He queried.

She was typing now. "It'd be even better if I had another packet."

He pushed away from the door frame. "Where at?"

"In the black cupboard by the door. Left side top shelf!" She called, "Help yourself if you'd like some."

"Do I have to drink it out of a measuring cup?" He called back.

She looked down at the 16 fluid ounces of pure goodness sitting 1/2 quart measuring cup. "Nah," Megan replied, "That's a ritual for apartment dwellers only. Mutants like yourselves are permitted to use a mug. Above the sink, top shelf."

"Thanks for the accommodation," he fired back. "If I'd been Raphael, then what? Catch."

She snatched the tea packet and dropped into the still steaming liquid. "I didn't think he was much of a tea turtle, er person."

Michelangelo raised his mug to her in a salute before taking a sip, "Point."

Megan was still typing away and occasionally stealing a gulp from the measuring cup. Mike came over and sat on the bed, quiet.

Accompanied by the clacking of her fingers on the keyboard she said, "Something on your mind?"

"Yeah, were you really going to hook up Yuri with Leo?"

Megan smiled. "Does it really matter?"

"Kinda."

"I'd be more worried about what I have planned now."

Mike shuddered, "Dudette, if you can come up with something more twisted than that..." He looked at her as her grin grew more impish by the second. "I don't want to know."

"Smart move."

"So," he asked, fidgeting a bit, "Watcha writin' now?"

"This conversation."

"..."

He got up and went to the kitchen. His tea needed more sugar.

"Mine does too!" Megan yelled from her room. "Just bring me the bag!"

He just shook his head and grabbed the sugar. Maybe if asked Donnie real nice he could explain Megan and all the oddities that accompanied her in short, three syllable words or less. Nah, between the subject matter being Megan and the explainer being Donnie...

"Just give it up, Mikey!"

Short, sweet, simple, he'd take it!

Getting Started

Well, this will be a place where I'll put my TMNT fanwork. I've just gotten started so don't mind the construction cloud and the wrecking balls flying in every direction. I'll settle in when I'm feeling less ill and more coherent.
